Liesel and Ben eloped in Malibu on 2.2.22- a detail that didn't resonate with me until I was at Calamigos Ranch dropping off Liesel's bouquet (great at being observant, Angela). Such a fun date to get married and one of THE BEST locations for an elopement. Malibu always makes me feel like I'm somewhere exotic or in Europe- which the drive on the 405 may sometimes be longer than a flight across the world. This color palette was a new one for me and I LOVE the pops of the dark chocolate cosmos mixed with the lighter hues of the carnations and garden roses.
Lisianthus was another fun focal flower- I love their fluffy quality and how dramatic the centers are.
We tried to match flowers to the natural landscape of the Malibu cliffs- I added in a small air plant for Ben's boutonniere. We also added in small pops of purple and sage- an unexpected addition but one of those "this just feels right" type moments.
Such a beautiful day for an even more beautiful couple! Love that I get to be a part of so many people's special moments.
